Bubble Badger and Squeak Mouse are the best of friends in the Woolly Woods. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The mouse tail is an i-cord tube worked on two DPNs, and both toys incorporate Kitchener stitch, and picking up stitches along a cast off edge.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 2.5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than a 100g/280m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, domed buttons for eyes, stitch markers, and embroidery thread to add badge’s nose.

SIZES
One size only - Each animal is 11cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
