Bubble Dutch Shawl
I love wearing giant shawls and totally wrap myself up in them. My husband keeps asking me “ Another one???” when I have a new design on my needles. Well, sure darling!! A girl can never have too many.
Another reason for designing new shawls is that I absolutely can’t resist variegated yarns. I usually combine them with uni colored ones.
So let me introduce to you: Bubble Dutch Shawl.
A generously sized, asymmetric triangular shawl.
Not very hard to knit; only stockinette stitches and bubble stitches are used. It has I-cord edging all around to give it a finished look.
The fun bit comes from the combination of yarns used and alternating stockinette- and bubble stitches.
Finished size:
unblocked: ca. 180 cm wide and 90 cm high
blocked: ca 200 cm wide and 100 cm high
Yarn: the fun part is: you can use any two yarns you like as long as the two are of the same thickness. You don’t have to use variegated yarn or use only two colors. Use your creativity to make this shawl your own.
