This Bubble Headband pattern is a take-off of Kristen McDonnell’s Bubble Stitch Square. The bubbles add a fun texture to the headband and the garter stitch on the edges keep it snug and warm over your ears.

This pattern is very simple and is a beginner-level pattern. The stitches needed are cast on, knit, purl, and knit four stitches below, a technique described in the pattern and a linked video tutorial.

The pattern is sized for adult heads around 25” in circumference but could be adapted for smaller heads by removing sets of the bubbles to make it smaller.

The finished headband is around 3” wide and 23” around.
