BubbleFly
The BubbleFly Sweater pattern is a great jumping off point for both the newer knitter who requires clear directions and the more experienced knitter who would like a basic sweater to adapt to their ideas. It is ideal for experimenting with those textured stitches or colorwork patterns that you’ve been wanting to try out. Knit in the round from the top down, this sweater is seamless.
The BubbleFly sizing is based on chest measurements with arm and skirt length being fully adaptable to the child you are knitting for. The smallest size, when knit with long sleeves and a short skirt takes less than 7oz of colorway and 2oz of trim. Yardages for larger sizes and longer skirts vary.
The pattern is free for now and can be used for swaps, trades, and sale in your shop as long as you give credit to the author.
errata:
There is a small mistake in the instructions for the skirt of sweater #1. Please allow 3” for hem rather than the 1.5” dictated in the pattern.
For sweater #2, 1.5” is an accurate hem measurement.
