Bubbles Mesh Cowl
Have you ever needed a quick gift for someone special in your life? Silly question, we all have. Well this is the perfect pattern. The Bubbles Mesh Cowl can be knit in just a few hours in your favorite bulky yarn. I used just one full skein of Knitting Fever’s Bubbles Yarn and it is a mid-chest length cowl after blocking. The yarn overs create a lacy look, but when I wear mine on a blustery days it is surprisingly warm as well.
This is an Advanced Beginner project only because you are working with bulky yarn which is a little harder than worsted weight yarn. The bind-off technique is three needle bind off. If you haven’t done that before, you should try this pattern if only to learn this technique. It is a wonderful technique that will serve you well for many future projects.
This pattern could also be made by holding multiple strands of bulky or worsted yarn together. Novelty yarns work very well in this pattern.
