Everything in my Ravelry store is 25% off till end of August 15, 2024 (EST). The 25% discount will be applied automatically at checkout without any code.

The offer includes e-books as well (e.g. Secession belongs to the Knit Light e-book, Heartfelt Conversation to Moment Catchers e-book, get either patterns or the e-books). The Photography Shawl pattern and Top 5 e-book is also 25% off!

Also, please note: in September the price of most of my patterns will increase to 7 USD and also the price of e-books will go up by 2-4 USD (plus any VAT, if applies). Probably now is the best time to get whatever you may desire.

An extra bonus: Purchase the Top 5 e-book and choose any pattern for free using the code gift (this offer is valid till end of August 16, EST time). You can get the free pattern in a separate transaction, after purchasing the e-book with the 25% discount.

What will bring you joy today, this week, this month? What things are on your happiness list? Have you planned for some simple pleasures, for example, a meeting with a friend or an occasional hour of knitting with abandon? This shawl is one of the “moment catchers”, so you can knit some memories of joyful moments “into the fabric”, and when the shawl is worn it will be almost a magical object that will attract joyful experiences for you ;)

The shawl is an asymmetric triangle with some garter, mosaic and lace. The size of the shawl is easy to adapt according to the included customisation notes. Instructions are provided for working two versions of the shawl. You can either use many yarns (main colour and miniskeins for contrasting colour) or two yarns (main colour and a single contrasting colour).

For information about measurements and yarn requirements please check the second page of the pattern located among the photos on the left.

Bubbles of Joy is the final pattern from the Moment Catchers e-book. The e-book includes six shawl patterns in total, all designed to catch the most precious experiences.

I asked test knitters what they would like to tell about the pattern and the finished shawl to other knitters and here are some of their answers:

bufknitter This pattern results in a easily wearable, large shawl with beautiful lace and mosaic. Fun to knit and wear.

klementine Nice and colourful knitting! If I would knit it again, I would use more than just 2 colours :) Perfect fitting form.

MandyzMoon The first clue allows time to reflect on what brings joy in your life. The colourwork brings joy. It finishes with a playful edge.

allisongibbs Beautiful and innovative and an easy way to do colorwork.

It Was a Mystery
The pattern was first released as a Mystery Knit-A-Long. The MKAL was running at the Anima Knitting Club on Ravelry. The projects were tagged KristinaVilimaiteMKAL2019.
