I hope you enjoy making this darling mini penguin! Bubbles stands about 2.5 to 3 inches tall using worsted weight yarn. (For a larger version, please see Peggy the Penguin, also free!)

I have made mine working in the back loops only (BLO).

Materials:

G crochet hook – or a hook size that will allow you to crochet a firm fabric without gaps

Tapestry Needle, Scissors, and Stitch marker

Craft eyes (suggested 8 mm), or yarn to embroider eyes.
Small bit of white felt to put behind eyes (optional)

Stuffing

Skills needed:

Basic crochet skills
Slip Knot
Chaining
Single Crochet
Sewing on parts using yarn tails
Crocheting in the round (spiral)
