This pattern was inspired by the look of a traditional canvas bucket hat. I wanted to recreate the look from yarn, and this is what I came up with.

The patterns is written for four different sizes - infant, toddler, child and adult - and also includes instructions for a custom fit.

For this project, you should be familiar with crochet terms and abbreviations and be able to chain (ch), half-double crochet (hdc), slip stitch (sl st) and work around front posts.
