This afghan stitch pattern was originally designed as a Christmas gift for my seven-year-old cousin. He is crazy about his father’s job as a lineman and this pillow was customized just for him. The pattern includes written instructions as well as a color chart. I’ve also included instructions on how to create the pillow as well as how to customize it.

For those who don’t enjoy utilizing the afghan stitch, the chart can easily be used for cross-stitch, or other colorwork techniques used in knit and crochet.
