The back and fronts of the sweater are worked flat. The back is then joined to the fronts at the shoulders using a three-needle bind off, and the sides seams are sewn. The sleeves sts are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves worked in the round from the top down, using short rows to shape the sleeve caps.

YARN
6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10) hanks Juniper Moon Farm Sabine. The sample is shown in color #26 Black Sapphire.

NEEDLES
US 6 (4mm) circular needle and double–pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
US 5 (3.75mm) needle and set of 5 double–pointed needles, or one size smaller than main needles.
Two US 3 (3.25mm) circular needles, for collar and buttonbands.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, stitch markers, seven 5/8” / 16 mm buttons.

GAUGE
21 sts and 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st on larger needles.
