You can buy this pattern as a single pattern for 4.50 Euros, or in th E-book covering both the pullover and the cardigan for 6.50 Euros. This gorgeously soft and warm top is a rescue line for those cold, windy days of winter when you want to look feminine and stylish without catching a cold! It doesn’t look bulky under your coat or jacket - it closes softly against your body and gives you that extra warmth. Simple shape, yet interesting and special with the beautiful buckwheat blossom-inspired pattern in front.
Created to match the Buckwheat Blossom Cardigan, both garments have enough personality to stand on their own. I find it so versatile; this is a classic that can be worn casually with your favourtie jeans, elegantly with your black pencil skirt - and all the styles inbetween.
The knitting is not complicated. Knitted in the round bottom-up, with a few decreases for waistshaping, and divided at armholes to work back and front back and forth. I give you both a chart and written instructions for the pattern. The “cables” are worked without needing a cable needle; this means faster knitting. FInishing work constists of shoulderseams picking up stiches for edgings of neck and armholes.
For a soft and cozy feel I chose the beautiful Superfine alpaca from Iloyarn. And to match the pattern I chose the lovely Buckwheat color. You can knit the pullover in a similar wool - alpaca, cashmere, merino… as long as you respect the gauge.
