Can you tell I just love brioche? This brioche pattern reminds me of budding leaves - a wonderful spring image. The brioche stitch makes it soft, yet so very warm - like spring. The fact that brioche results in a different pattern on the reverse side is an added bonus.

The Fiber Seed’s Sprout Sock in ‘Shooting Stars’ and ‘Charcoal’ are a great combination of colors on a yarn that is heaven to work. But feel free to check out all the fabulous colors that The Fiber Seed offers. One skein of each color is all it takes.

As with all brioche patterns, use a circular needle. The pattern includes both written row by row instructions and a chart. If using the chart, you may need to enlarge it. The pattern can easily be made wider by repeating stitches 15 - 40. Gauge is not critical for this project, but swatching is always a good idea to ensure you get a fabric that you love.
