Buffalo Check Mobius Cowl Fingering
The Buffalo Check Mobius Cowl is inspired by the Buffalo Plaid prints made popular in the U.S. by the Woolrich Woolen Mills in the 1850’s. This cowl has timeless appeal as a traditional pattern evocative of fall and winter.
The Buffalo Check Mobius Cowl starts with a provisional cast on, is worked with stranded knitting colorwork techniques in the round, and finished with Kitchener stitch.
Have fun playing with different color combinations for your favorite season. This pattern works well with both high and low contrast yarn pairings. Check out the DK weight version of this cowl, too.
This pattern uses charted instructions ONLY for the colorwork patterning. There are written instructions for the construction of the cowl, but you will need to use a chart for the colorwork.
Happy Making, Friends. I can’t wait to see your cowls!
P.S. Check out the Ebook if you would like both the fingering and DK weight cowls.
