This pattern was created for the Fiber Art Studio Tour in the MD\VA\DC area on June 1 and 2. Fiber artists dye yarn for this event, and knitters can gather mini-skeins from different dyers and create a shawl. This pattern was created for Dancing Leaf Dyeworks using mini-skeins of sock hop yarn that are 100 yards each. I had about 10 yards left over of each color.

The shawl shown uses 8 mini-skeins of yarn. Each section requires 1 skein. The pattern is written so that you can interchange the sections and/or pick and choose which patterns you would like in your finished product.
If you have a collection of mini-skeins of sock yarn, you can just keep on going repeating the pattern as many times as you’d like.
The mini triangle section is most difficult, and it gets easier as you go with the last section just seed stitch.
While there are a few tricky sections, there are border rows for each section that are mindless knitting so you can enjoy a movie and some wine while knitting those. (I feel it’s important to plan your knitting, do the more complicated parts while your mind is fresh, and the simpler parts when hanging out with friends when you may not be paying as much attention.)

Kits are available at Dancing Leaf Farm.

I did not have any test knitters, so I appreciate any comments or corrections.
