After viewing Pamela Wynne’s awesome Buffalo Double-Knit Scarf, I decided to create my own.

At the time I made this scarf, the only red and black DK weight yarn that I could find locally was Joy DK. I used 3 skeins of Ruby and 3 skeins of Black. (273 yards/skein)

Each Block is 7 stitches wide by 10 rows high. The scarf is 6 blocks wide. With a finished size of 8.75 inches wide by 66 inches long – before fringe. If you want to make this scarf narrower, reduce it by multiples of 7 (one complete block width).
