Bugs and Roaches is another sock pattern with multiple design options. There is much more in the PDF than you can see from the photos; to knit a prototype for every option would take me forever!

Each design option (with bugs, and with roaches) is charted in two lengths (for US shoe size 6-8 and 8-10); the width is varied from 64 to 70 sts. You can make them ankle- or midcalf- length.

The pattern is intended for experienced knitters. I don’t explain how to knit heels and toes. There are many different charts in the PDF, but there’s almost no written instructions.

Materials: you will need 2.0 – 2.5mm circular needles, and 80-120g. of fingering-weight sock yarn total for mid-calf socks for most sizes.

Gauge: it’s very approximate. Should be about 35sts X 35rows in 10 cm.
