This multi-size pattern was originally designed as a challenge at my wonderful local yarn shop, Bugweeds Yarn & Craft, in York, UK: create an attractive pattern for a single ball wonderful natural-colour yarn which is often overlooked.

I think I didn’t do too badly on this challenge. A cable pattern works best on plain and natural yarn because the deep texture pops out so nicely.

It is knitted bottom-up with double ribbing followed by a beautifully rich textured cable pattern. With a big bobble on top, it’s a real looker.
The instructions include a circular knitting version as well as one for knitting flat and sewing up.
