Build-a-Monster (or Jack-o-Lantern) Longies
I am also offering the first 15 buyers free cottage licensing through Dec 31st, 2011! A full year. Just please email me with some photos of your completed work and the URL where you will be selling them. :)
This pattern includes several facial feature charts so that the knitter can mix and match features to make several different monster or Jack-o-Lantern faces on the butt of the longies/pants! I have also included a working area for you to draw up some of your own feature ideas. :)
*** One way to get around the mouth short rows interfering with duplicate stitch for teeth or tongue is to do 1 row of mouth color all the way around before beginning the mouth section of the pattern and 3 more row after. It will leave a small stripe of the mouth color in the front, but leave a more even area to add teeth and such in the back.
