Building Bridges MKAL
In keeping with my design philosophy, This shawl uses simple stitches in unusual ways to create a one-of-a-kind accessory, easy to knit and fun to wear.
March is Nation Women’s History Month. While this celebrates the contributions women have made to history, in the interest of inclusion I would like to point out that these contributions involved men as well. This design is created with unity in mind, so gentlemen knitters please consider yourselves included in this endeavor!
Each stitch pattern is meant to represent the struggles faced and changes made by 5 extraordinary women. Each stitch pattern includes a brief description of their accomplishemnts along with a link to a longer biography. Click on their name to read more.
