This top down crescent shaped shawl is formed by three distinct sections separated by contrasting color welts. The first two sections are garter and double moss stitch respectively, and the third combines the two colors in a slip stitch or mosaic pattern representing the building blocks of friendships.

Gauge is not terribly important as it is a shawl. You may want to plan for extra yardage if your gauge is off.

The shawl requires approximately 450 yard of main color and 225 yards of contrasting color yarns.
