Bukkene Bruse Bamse / Billy Goat Teddy
THIS PATTERN IS AVAILABLE IN BOTH ENGLISH AND NORWEGIAN AFTER PURCHASE.
This goat is an easy-to-knit toy made using a long 3 mm circular needle. Start by knitting the head, then pick up stitches for ears, horns, body, arms, legs, and tail. The entire project is worked with the magic loop technique (if you’re unfamiliar with it, I recommend watching a tutorial on YouTube).
You can use various types of yarn for this project. Use leftover yarn! The gauge can vary; the most important thing is to ensure the stitches are tight enough to hold the stuffing inside. I also recommended to choose a bouclè yarn or Wild to give the goat its distinctive look.
Yarn Suggestions:
About 15 g POP merino from Hip Knit Shop
About 15 g Wild from Hip Knit Shop
Alternatives to Wild:
Double thread Drops Alpaca Bouclé or a single thread with a thicker boucle yarn.
Equipment:
Long circular needle size 3 mm (80 cm)
Double-pointed needles size 2.5 mm
Thin yarn or embroidery thread
Some leftover yarn or stuffing for filling
