Bulbasaur is a family favorite. This is my tribute to Bulbasaur in hat form. This is a challenging but manageable stranded knitting hat with several rows of long runs. Several rows will require you to manage 3 colors, with 1 row of 4 colors. This hat can be challenging for a beginner. I highly recommend taking the extra time to knit a lining for this hat to hide the long runs, although it isn’t strictly necessary if you remember to catch your runs every 3-4 stitches.
