Gauge:
5-rnd gauge circle = 1.75”/4.5cm
Gauge isn’t terribly important in amigurumi, so it is okay to use a slightly larger hook if that is all you have. However, you don’t want to see stuffing through the stitches, so don’t get too big. Also, remember that if you scale up your ami, you may want larger notions (like snap eyes).

Aran or worsted weight yarn:
• Color A: bulb
• Color B: bib/face, bulb threads, leg segments
• Color C: primary body color
• Color D: arms, lower edge of bib/face
• Color E (optional): contrast color for bulb screw thread
• Scrap yarn and/or embroidery thread for face details and filament

• Change color

• Working in back bumps of chain
