I love bamboo. Lots of different varieties grow in my garden.

The fascinating structure of a bamboo cane, as well as the phenomenal speed at which it grows, was inspiration for this blanket pattern.

The pattern uses Super Chunky yarn for the blanket and Chunky for the double border.

This blanket is very easy to knit, suitable for beginners and completely reversible, it looks the SAME on both sides.
Beautiful to look at and touch and grows super fast, just like bamboo…

Great last minute gift for expecting parents. I used nice sage green yarn, but this blanket would look lovely in any nature type shade, try greens, browns or tan.
