This hat is worked in the round from the brim to the top.
It fits adults, teens and children over 1 year old.
It is a comfortable close fitting beanie.
The pompom is optional.

Size S - Baby (1 to 2 years old)
for a head about 18” / 46 cm in circumference
Circumference (unstretched): 16” / 40 cm
Height following the curve: 7.5” / 19 cm

Size M – Child (3 to 7 years old)
for a head about 20” / 51 cm in circumference
Circumference (unstretched): 18” / 46 cm
Height following the curve: 8.5” / 22 cm

Size L – Teen and adult
for a head about 22” / 56 cm in circumference
Circumference (unstretched): 20” / 51 cm
Height following the curve: 10” / 25 cm

Materials

• Bulky yarn (100g = 100m or 110 yards), about:

Size S = Color A 22 g (22 m - 24 yards)
and Color B 17 g (17 m - 19 yards)

Size M = Color A 40 g (40 m - 44 yards)
and Color B 34 g (34 m - 37 yards)

Size L = Color A 45 g (45 m - 50 yards)
and Color B 39 g (39 m - 43 yards)

• Needles: US10.75 / 7 mm 16”/40cm circular needles and double point needles for decreases (or size to get gauge!)

• Yarn needle

• Stitch marker

Gauge: 14 sts and 20 rounds = 4” / 10 cm
