This is a simple single ribbed beanie that maintains the single rib pattern through the crown decreases. The hat uses super bulky yarn, so it is a fast knit. The simple single rib pattern is very stretchy. The hat is designed to fit close to the head.

Techniques Used

• Knitting in the round.
• Paired decreases with a cable needle
• TillyBuddy’s Extra Stretchy Cast On or other stretchy cast on that maintains a ribbed edge. Directions can be found at Very Stretchy Cast-on for Double and Single Ribbing by Tillybuddy.
