Bulky Waterfall Cardigan
Basket weave stitch makes the waterfall collar and borders of this cardigan. If you substitute yarns, do choose a soft one. Soft yarn and loose stitches are essential to get the drape right. It may be worked with or without a ribber. The basket-weave pattern in this stitch size is a challenge to the ribber so be sure that both carriages are clean and well lubricated before beginning and use plenty of weights. The basket-weave pattern may also be worked by hand manipulation.
