Cardigan is knitted from the top down. The upper body and shoulders are worked first, sleeves are separated and placed on to waste yarn, at the underarms. Stitches for the front edging are picked up and worked in 1x1 seed stitch. When the body is complete, the sleeves are picked up and worked in the round.
Pattern is written for four sizes, 34”, 36”, 38” and 40” chest size.
Materials needed = 5mm circular needles, 5mm DPNs (optional), 4 stitch markers and waste yarn for holding stitches.
4 skeins of black yarn and less than 1 skein of yellow yarn were used for this project.
