Bumblebee Bomber
Bumblebee bomber is an oversized (20-30 cm / 8-12”of positive ease) cardigan with all-over lace and texture print. It is worked from the bottom up flat to the armholes, then split for front and back (worked one by one flat, with armhole shaping), then joined again to work shoulder slopes.
The sleeves are also worked from the bottom up in the round, then joined to the body with simple seams. In the end, the bomber is trimmed with a double asymmetric neckband (folded and seamed down onto itself) for a sportier look.
This tutorial gives you detailed step-by-step instructions for the whole process, including written instructions, charts (optional), photo- and video-tutorials.
