The Bumpy Roads Socks are simple textured toe-up socks knit in worsted weight yarn. They feature an easy textured pattern that runs from the cuff, over the top of the foot, and continues seamlessly down the heel. These socks are perfect for keeping your feet warm and cozy at home. Satisfying and quick to knit, it is also suitable for all knitting levels.

Size Guide
The Bumpy Roads Socks are designed to have approx. 4 cm 1 1⁄2” of negative ease (4 cm 1 1⁄2 ” smaller than your foot circumference).

Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4), for a finished foot circumference of approx. 20.5 (22.5) 24.5 (28.5) cm [8 (8 3⁄4) 9 3⁄4 (11 1⁄4) ”] which corresponds to Child (Adult Small) Adult Medium (Adult Large).

Gauge: 20 sts x 36 rows - 10x10cm 4x4” in stockinette on 4 mm needles US 6 blocked for sizes 1, 3 and 4.
23 sts x 33 rows - 10x10cm 4x4” in stockinette on 3.5 mm needles US 4 blocked for size 2.

Needles: 3.5 or 4 mm needles US 4 or US 6 mini circular needles, magic loop or dpns or the ones required to meet gauge.

Notions: Stitch markers, scrap yarn or additional cables, tapestry needle.

Techniques: Knitting in the round, knitting back and forth, German short rows, increases and decreases, placing stitches on hold, ribbing, Italian bind-off, wet blocking. Video support provided.
