This project was made with a very fluffy sport weight yarn, but my gauge was similar when using worsted weight yarn. If using another hook or yarn, make a swatch with the first few rounds and block to see if you like the fabric it makes. If the stitches are too tight, go up in hook size. If the stitches are too loose, go down in hook size.
