This pattern includes instructions for how to knit the bonnet by knitting flat on two needles and seaming the back as well as how to shape the bonnet by knitting in the round. You will receive two PDFs with this download, one for the newborn pattern and one for the sitter size.

Materials required:
Worsted weight yarn
Size 5.0mm (US 8) knitting needles for newborn size (dpns or circulars if you plan on shaping in the round)
Size 5.5mm (US 9) knitting needles for sitter size (dpns or circulars if you plan on shaping in the round)
Yarn needle and scissors
