Bunny Bonnet with Floppy Ears
This is a pdf knitting pattern, written in English and using standard US terminology, for you to knit a newborn Bunny Hat photo prop to be used, with supervision, in your newborn photography sessions.
This pattern contains instructions to work this bonnet up in size newborn only and will fit most, but not all, average sized newborns.
It is well-suited to a beginner knitter as this bonnet is knit flat, then seamed. You will need to have some basic sewing experience, as well, as you will be adding fabric to the inner ears.
This hat is worked up using DK weight yarn on 4mm (US6) needles. You will need to know how to cast on and off, knit, purl, increase stitches and knit two stitches together.
My gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows is 10x10 cms or 4”x4”.
