Bunny book lover
★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE+
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :
- Yarn: You can use any yarn that is comfortable and/or suitable for you. BUT preferably fluffy!
I used:
For the bunny: Cofil Sciarada color camel (beige, Italy, bobbin, mohair/wool/acrylic, 100g ~ 900m), Alize Kid Royal milk color (mohair/polyamide, 50g ~ 500m). Black yarn (eg. floss) to embroider the mouth.
For the scarf: Slonim in 2 threads (wool+acrylic, in 2 threads 100g ~ 808m). Also you can use Gamma «Iris» (cotton, 10g ~ 82m) or Yarnart Iris (хлопок, 20g ~ 138m). Swamp green color.
- Hook №0.9 (0.9mm, pay attention you need to knit a bunny tightly, if you usually knit very loosely, take a thinner hook)
- The plastic safety joints or cotter pins and joint disks: I used the disks 12mm in diameter for the arms (4pcs), 20mm in diameter for the legs (4pcs), 12mm in diameter for the head (2pcs), cotter pins 2х20mm (5pcs), washers – 10pcs
- For attaching ears: 2 pieces of wire, 20cm each, thick ~0.4-0.5mm
- Fiberfill (to stuff)
- Glue eyes (4mm)
- Nose: you can use ready plastic nose, sculpt it from polymer clay, felt it from wool or embroider it
- Glasses: a piece of wire ~12cm
- A piece of Velcro to brush the toy, and a felting needle (for example, star felting needle №38) to correct and lay the fur
- Needle, safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
★ SKILLS REQUIRED: You must have basic crochet and brush skills. Also I added 6 useful video lessons.
This pattern is easy to follow with step-by-step instructions (16 pages with detailed instructions and many photos illustrating the process + video lessons)
