Perfect for re-usable Easter Egg hunts!

This pattern is 462 stitches for the main body of the egg, with two ears that are 84-135 stitches each. This pattern is perfect for beginners or will work up quickly for more advanced users. Finished egg is approximately 8cm/3 inches tall by 5cm/2 inches wide.

The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Stitches included: chain, magic ring, single crochet, single crochet increase, single crochet decrease

Tools needed:
Any yarn can be used. In the photos I used Lion Brand® Ice Cream® Yarn, light weight 3
Any crochet hook can be used. In the photos I used size D/3 3.00mm
Scissors
Needle
Fiberfill for stuffing
Embroidery floss (optional)
8-10mm safety eyes and 1011mm safety nose (optional)
Note that if a toy is being created for a child under the age of 3 years, please do not use safety eyes or noses.
