This bunny is a great project for a beginner who wants to practice working in rows of single crochet but doesn’t want to make a scarf or a blanket. It’s a quick, fun project that can be completed relatively quickly.
So it’s a perfect, simple project for kids learning to crochet - they get the satisfaction of making something in a short period of time and best of all - it’s a cute bunny!
This pattern comes with a free walk through tutorial on YouTube - links in the pattern.
To complete this pattern you’ll need:
-
DK or worsted weight yarn in a bunny colour.
-
4.5mm or 5.0mm crochet hook (you may need more than one hook size - see pattern)
-
9.0mm safety eyes (or buttons, fabric, crocheted eyes - whichever you choose)
-
Polyester or other stuffing
-
Small amount of DK weight black yarn for mouth
-
Mini pom pom maker or fork for making tail. Tail may be made completely of main colour or a mixture of main colour and white, or completely white.
