Using circulars is great fun, and this hat pattern is a great introduction. You’ll need4.5 and 5mm circulars, max 40cms in length, or (dpns if you prefer). You’ll also need a pair of single pointed needles in 5.5mm for the floppy ears.

We’ve used Drops Big Merino in the colour “Marble”, but any aran weight yarn will do. Allow 100g for both hat and ears.

This is a multi-size pattern for 0-6; 6-12 and 12-24 months.
