These would make a great shower gift, and the pink areas can be changed for either blue or brown, depending on what sex the baby is going to be. This would look adorable on a boy or girl. The yarn is super soft and you wouldn’t be worried about the baby being uncomfortable , while wearing these during a photo shoot. They work up pretty quickly and even a beginner would have no problem whipping this up.

You will be using the following stitches to complete your project:
sc, dc, increase and decrease.

supplies needed (besides the yarn):
tapestry needle
thread and needle (to sew the buttons to the diaper cover)
2 buttons for diaper cover

You will need two balls of the velvetspun yarn and a wee bit of the pink yarn (for the trim)
