This is a jacket knit with Aran weight yarn. Buttons are placed in the top 3rd of the jacket to leave the bottom open and flowing. The jacket increases at the armpits and flares outwards. The pattern took about 300gr of Aran weight yarn (approximately 630m). This pattern was knit from the top-down, the body is worked flat, the hood is knit after the body and arms, and the arms are knit in the round.
