There is a new version of Bunny Love that is being sold in printed form to yarn shops through Alana Dakos’ Never Not Knitting Press. I’ve updated, revamped and put the modifications all in one slick pattern to purchase online or through NNK Press if you are a yarn shop.

Bunny Love is a pattern that was originally designed for a Little Skein Kit that was inspired by the Velveteen Rabbit. For inquiries about the kit please contact Little Skein’s Anne Vally.

I’ve now updated this pattern to include options for different arms and legs, a cardigan, and a bunch of carrots, and a more cheerful face. So this pattern includes the original Bunny Love pattern along with all of the new options.

Bunny Love stands 7 1/2” tall from bottom to head (not including his lovely, floppy ears). He is knit seamlessly in the round.

The only other modification I made to the knitting of the bunny is that I took out the ssk on the face decreases and used a k2tog instead. Otherwise the bunny body, head and ears are exactly the same on the new version.
