BUNNY MITTENS

The sweetest bunny mittens for babies and children complete with fluffy pompom tails.

Inspired by a much loved ‘vintage’ Button and Blue design from the archives!

A light 3ply yarn has been chosen to get the perfect delicate bunny shape. However, 3ply mittens tend to be quite lightweight and not warm enough for colder days. So, in order to make these mittens warm enough, I’ve included a folded cuff as well as a knitted mitten lining. The pattern includes a video tutorial on how to add the lining to your mittens.

These Bunny Mittens are worked from the bottom up using a mixture of knitting flat and working in the round. The cuff is worked in the round, then the hand is worked flat so that the bunny motif can be added using intarsia. The mitten lining is then worked in the round to finish.

The pattern includes instructions for thumbless baby mittens as well as for mittens with thumbs for toddlers and children.
