US crochet terms

In order for you to follow this pattern’s instructions properly and have your attempt at recreating what I have designed turn out anything similar to the reference picture I have displayed, you are expected to have at least a basic knowledge of how to crochet amigurumi.

Techniques you should know are…
Magic Circle (MC)
Single crochet (Sc)
Half double crochet (hdc)
Triple double crochet (Tdc)
Back Loops (Bk Lp)
Front Loops (Ft Lp)
Chain stitch (Ch)
Increasing (Inc) or (2Sc)
Decreasing (Dec) or (sc2tog)
Slip Stitch (Sl St)
and basic sewing for attaching pieces together.

If made using medium/worsted weight yarn and corresponding hook size you can expect her to be about 5 inches tall from bottom of front paw to top of head. From her nose to her tail 12 inches long. Her widest part is about 9 inches wide. Of course this also dependents on how tightly/loosely you crochet.
