The pattern for bunny Sem calls for Hoooked Soft Cotton DK. This creates a soft plush toy, but you can easily use any other yarn that you like. Simply make sure that your crochet hook matches your yarn. You might also need to use bigger or smaller eyes if your bunny ends up being bigger or smaller due to using thicker or thinner yarn.

Gauge is not important, though if you crochet very loosely I’d recommend a smaller hook then asked for, just so the stuffing doesn’t show through the fabric of the plush.
