Bunny Tails is worked from the top down in-the-round. Using an alternating cable cast-on and then working one row of 1x1 rib pattern, gives this pattern an eye catching border. There are simple increases that will cause the cowl to lay flat while being worn. The field of stockinette stitch is punctuated with bobbles, (or bunny tails). Skills required

• Alternating Cable cast-on

• Purl
• Yarn over
• Make Bobble (Knit1, yarn over, knit1, yarn over, knit1 into the
  same stitch)
• Purl 3 together through the back loop

Finished Measurements:
5.5 inches by 19.25, (21.25, 24, 26.25, 31)inches (at the narrow portion of the cowl.)
or
14 cm by 49, (54, 61, 66.75, 78.75)

The cowl should be about 6-9 inches wider than your neck at the most narrow part of the cowl.

The finished measurement for the narrow portion of the cowl width is below:

• Child is 19.25 inches, fits necks measuring 10.25-13.25 inches
• S/M is 21.25 inches, fits necks measuring 12.25-15.25 inches
• L/XL is 24 inches, fits necks measuring 15-18 inches
• 1 is 26.25 inches, fits necks measuring 17.25-20.25
• 2 is 31 inches, fits necks mesauring 22-25 inches

You may choose to knit a larger or smaller size depending on your ideal fit.

• S/M uses 116 yadrs/106 meters
• L/XL uses 130 yards/119 meters
• 1 uses 140 yards/128 meters
• 2 uses 163 yards/150 meters

Knitting Needles
US size 10.5 (6.5 mm) circular knitting needles as needed for smallest circumference measurement, or size needed to obtain gauge
