Bunnykin
Bunnykin was inspired by the simplicity of Waldorf style toys. The construction is very basic, simple and inspires the imagination. However, it can be embellished with additional items if you want something a bit fancier.
A 5/8” gauge 24 peg round loom along with a super bulky yarn were used. However, a different weight yarn and a smaller gauge loom could easily be substituted.
Staying in the Waldorf style, the facial features were done in basic embroidery - French knot eyes and a few lines for the nose & mouth. Other embellishments could be used, but please consider that some items pose a choking hazard to babies and small children.
The main color is the #6 Lion Brand Hometown USA, which takes about 57 yards. The yarn used for the facial features only requires about .5 yards for each of the two colors.
