Buns in the Oven
A double sided dishcloth with a stranded colourwork stitch pattern, knitted in the round. Started with a provisional cast on, the body is worked in a stranded pattern, and the piece is finished by grafting the last stitches together.
Put two of my dishcloth patterns into your cart and pay for only one! No code needed.
The pattern comes with charts as well as round by round written instructions, and directions on how to resize it into a larger item, e.g. baby blanket. An online version of the chart and its round by round instructions, with a progress tracker by Stitch Fiddle, is also included.
A nice and thick potholder, or a dishcloth, or a trivet, whatever you fancy. Completely adjustable, can be made with pretty much any yarn in any size, so if one desires, it can even be a large blanket. Or a cowl, a placemat, cushion cover, an infinity scarf etc. It can have two identical sides, or inverted patterns on each side.

“- Love the outcome.”
“- Enjoyed this pattern.”
“- I actually enjoyed this pattern. I haven’t done stranded work in awhile, because of how hard it was to keep tension neat. I don’t know if it was my improvement as a knitter, or the ease of reading your pattern, but this was an enjoyable, interesting knit.
I already have yarn to do again!”
“- Since this was the first time for me doing stranded knitting, I was a bit concerned. But after the first few rows, it wasn’t difficult. I really enjoyed knitting it and sort of surprised myself with my success. You definitely led me out of my comfort zone with this one.”
