BURANO is a cardigan with a V neckline. It is knitted from top to bottom seamlessly.
We start the yoke with the collar in icord then the back and the front are formed by increases along a shoulder line. The back and front are then worked back and forth separately to the bottom of the armholes and then joined together to knit the body in back and forth. The button band is shaped in icord at the same time as the body. The sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round.

Techniques: st st, 1/1 twisted ribs, M1L, M1R, M1Lp, M1Rp, k2tog, ssk, italian bind off, icord.

SIZES: 1 (2 - 3) 4 (5 - 6) 7 (8 - 9)
Finished bust circumference approximately: 39.75 (42.5 - 45) 47.25 (49.5 - 51) 56.25 (59 - 63.75) inches or 101 (108 - 114) 120 (126 - 130) 143 (150 - 162) cm.
Recommended ease: 4 to 10 inches or 10 to 25 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number.
Sample is shown in size 3 with 6.25 inches or 20 cm of positive ease.

GAUGE: 21 sts x 30 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in st st with larger needles.

YARN: this sweater is knitted with a lace and a fingering weight yarn held together:
Sweater version: approx 1100 (1200 - 1220) 1300 (1400 - 1460) 1580 (1720 - 1820) yards or 1010 (1080 - 1100) 1200 (1300 - 1340) 1450 (1580 - 1700) m of each yarn.
If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a DK weight yarn.

BURANO est un cardigan à encolure V. Il est tricoté de haut en bas sans couture. On commence l’empiècement par le col en icord puis le dos et le devant sont formés par des augmentations le long d’une ligne d’épaule en côtes. Le dos et le devant sont ensuite travaillés séparément en aller/retour jusqu’en bas des emmanchures puis rejoints ensemble pour tricoter le corps en aller-retour. La patte de boutonnage est façonnée en icord en même temps que le corps. Les mailles des manches sont relevées puis travaillées en rond.
Techniques : jersey, côtes 1/1 semi torses, AID, AIG, AIDenv, AIGenv, GGT, 2m ens, I-cord, rabat à l’italienne.

TAILLES : 1 (2 - 3) 4 (5 - 6) 7 (8 - 9)
Tour de buste du vêtement terminé environ 101 (108 - 114) 120 (126 - 130) 143 (150 - 162) cm.
Il est conseillé de le porter avec une aisance positive de 10 à 25 cm. Pour choisir la meilleure taille, mesurer le tour de poitrine et ajouter l’aisance souhaitée, puis choisir la circonférence de poitrine finie la plus proche de ce nombre. Il est bien sûr possible de choisir d’avoir un tricot plus ou moins près du corps et de tricoter une taille avec plus ou moins d’aisance que préconisé.
Il est présenté en taille 3 avec 20 cm d’aisance positive.

ECHANTILLON : 21 m x 30 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey avec les aiguilles 4.

LAINE : le pull se tricote avec deux fils tenus ensemble : un fil de type lace et un fil de type fingering (50g = 420M). env 1010 (1080 - 1100) 1200 (1300 - 1340) 1450 (1580 - 1700) m au total de chaque fil.

MATERIEL : aiguilles suggérées n°3 (côtes) et n°4 (corps et manches) de 80 cm, une aiguille à laine, câbles pour mettre les mailles en attente, 6 anneaux marqueurs, mètre à mesurer, 6 à 7 boutons d’environ 11 mm.
