Burdett has been specially designed to maximise the effect of the fantastic ultra-heavyweight Bouton d’Or Mistral yarn. This yarn was purchased during a fantastic day trip to Paris. We toured many of Paris’ yarn shops, and nothing was quite as unusual as this yarn from Bon Marché. Composed of combed wool stabilised with a loosely wound ply of thread, this yarn is readily imitatable by handspinners.

This cowl is perfect for the winter months and its weight and colour meet current London fashions well. The pattern features simple 1x1 cables that can easily be done using your fingers.
