This is a written step by step illustrated pattern that makes up very quickly using simple sts. Very pretty lacy pumpkin to place on your Holiday table, or incorporate it in a centerpiece. Written as a step-by-step tutorial in U.S. terminology. This pattern has many pictures to help you along the way.
Size: 6” or 8” with stem
Materials needed: About ½ ounce of orange cotton crochet thread #5 or #10 (#10 will make a smaller pumpkin.)
Small amounts of Green and Brown thread in the same size as used for pumpkin.
Size 5, or size recommended on the tread package, steel crochet hook.
Elmers Glue or Stiffener. (Elmers will make a stronger, more permanent hold.)
1 small balloon
Needle for weaving in ends
Hot glue gun or a large twister seal tie.
