The Burgundy Sweater is a cozy sweater knitted in a classic and elegant cable pattern. It has a high collar and dropped shoulders.
The sweater is knitted top-down. First, the left shoulder of the back piece is knitted using short rows and continuously casted on stitches. After repeating this for the right shoulder, both shoulders are connected and the back is knitted in rows to the required length of the armholes. The same is repeated again for the front part. Finally, front and back are connected and the body is knitted in rounds to the desired length.
For the sleeves, stitches are picked up along the armholes and the sleeves are knitted in rounds.
Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline and the collar is knitted in a 2x2 rib pattern until the desired hight.

The sweater is designed to have approx. 10-15 cm of positive ease, so the finished sweater will be approx. 10-15 cm wider than you actual bust circumference. On the photo I´m wearing size M with a bust circumference of 92 cm.

If your bust circumference is between two sizes, please orientate on the measurements of the finished sweater. You can knit either a size smaller for a fitted sweater or a bigger size for a looser fit.
